German Cockroach` Blattella Germanica

General
The male cockroaches are approximately 25mm – females 32mm long.

Reproduction
The female Oriental cockroaches (the most common in the UK) carry the oothecae for about 30 hours, after which time she deposits them, dropping or attaching them near food. Oothecae hatch in approximately 6 weeks, but may be more in cool conditions. In this situation the egg case may represent a biological ‘time-bomb’ waiting to hatch and continue an infestation.
